Douglas ‘Arm’ Armstrong is an ex-boxer who works for the notorious Devers crime family in rural Ireland. He is the violent right-hand man of Dympna, his best friend and the crime family’s unpredictable protege. But his work disconcerts his ex-girlfriend Ursula, who believes Arm is nothing but a tool for the Devers. She wants him to walk away so they can provide a better life for their autistic son Jack, something Arm can’t easily do. But when Arm is asked to commit his first murder for the family, he must decide where his loyalty truly lies.
