Joseph lives a banal life as an airport security officer. When he’s not spending his days patting down strangers, he lives a lonely life lying awake in bed and being criticised by his frigid parents. This has turned Joseph into an uneasy and taut wire waiting to snap. When he loses his job, Joseph loses all control. Feeling released, he embarks on a wild and uncontrollable 24-hour crime spree across London, each act bolder and increasingly more outrageous.
This frenetic and tense thriller has Ben Whishaw at his best, channelling a forceful performance that echos Taxi Driver’s Travis Bickle.
